Charley's First Birthday!!

So, I just realized I never blogged about Charley's first birthday! First off I'd like to say, OMG WTF MY DAUGHTER IS ONE?!? When in the hell did this happen?! Where did the time go?! All of those mom's were right when they said it all goes by so fast. It's really unbelievable it's been a year.

I never really got a chance to blog anything because well, it's summer so I'm very insanely busy. And because we got married a week before her birthday and went camping the week after so it's all been very hectic...and very busy. (wedding blog post to follow).

Because we were camping and her birthday is July 13th, we decided to have a beach/ campsite party and have our family and friends come up there. I bought lays and hula skirts, not sure if I actually got any pictures of that. It was fun we had a few friends and all of our family made it out, and of course she was spoiled rotten,

I think my child is the ONLY child in the world to NOT like cake. She didn't eat any of it. Hated it, you'd think we put garbage in her mouth. But hey obesity runs in my husbands family so if she doesn't like sweets that's awesome! HAHA

I honestly can't believe I've come this far as a mother. I wouldn't change a thing for the world. Just the other day I was looking at her thinking, "Wow, I really have a daughter, I created her." , and of course that she is absolutely the most gorgeous little girl in the world.

I love my Char Char. I Can't wait for all of the birthdays to come <3

After a YEAR of living in terrible, horrible, inhuman (ok, may be exaggerating a tad) living conditions, we are finally moving next month! I can honestly say I've never been happier in my life!!

What we've been up too..

Ok, so I really haven't blogged in forever. I have been insanely busy.
Planning a wedding.
Even though it's a small wedding it's still so short notice and taking a lot out of me.
On top of everything else I already do too.
So I'm pretty much done with everything..I think. I'm still waiting on a few things, such as the cake?!
So this is how the day will go: I hope.
July 7th 2012
8am- go to reception hall and direct orders to everyone as to how to set things up.
9am- get my hair done.
eat somewhere in here....
2:30pm - mykie bergeron and jasmin kavanagh will be wed at city hall <3
3pm- fly down to the photo location and take pictures..shit tons of them
6pm- dinner with our immediate family
8pm- Par-tay Time!!

Everything else...who knows.
I'm being summoned to make cupcakes right now...mom duty calls.

Going Out

Tonight, M and I are going out with our friends for a few drinks. Friends of mine. Normally we go out with his. Now, I've been very excited to go out as this friend just moved back to town. Now day of, I really just don't want to go out. It's so much WORK! I used to look forward to "lets get drunk and party just because its the weekend". Now it's honestly become a CHORE! haha. That's not to say I don't enjoy it, and I'm greatfull to get to do these things at all. I'm just saying it'd be a helluva lot easier to stay home and relax haha.
Not to mention, my friend asked me to be there between 6-7. It's funny how someone with kids so easily forgets what it's like to have a baby. between 6-7 would be easy if I had supper at 4pm, but we don't. I have to cook, eat, feed baby, clean up, do dishes, wash bottles, make bottles, bath baby, dress baby, give baby bottle, pray baby goes to sleep, get myself ready, go over a million things with my sister who's babysitting for the first time. Then I get to go and have a great night of fun! Like seriously, by the time all that is done, I'd much rather drink a beer on my couch in my sweats, and go to bed.
I feel freakin old.
But, I will go out.
And I will have fun.
7 am will be fun tomorrow.
I'm a new mom, trying to have a social life.

Valentines Day Take 2!

So, that gorgeous watch I got for Vday? It died today. So I take into the store thinking it was just the battery maybe. Nope, dead. So the lady was like "well, I guess you'll need to just return it". No, would you like to look at something else? Like, I just got it for Vday, obviously I want something! Anyway, I don't do confrontation, and I just left and went to another jewler. This is what I got instead. Very happy. :)

Valentines Day

So, I told M NOT to make a big deal out of Vday. However, I then decided that I was going to make a big deal out of it. Everytime I buy him a gift he ALWAYS one ups me. So I went out and bought him a watch. He's ALWAYS complaining he bought this one, they can't change the battery, no place in town has the tool to do it. So, thats it, thats what I will buy him.

I do, and it's gorgeous. BUT, while I'm there I see this gorgeous Guess watch. Well, there was two I liked, but I think the one was a little too much for me. Anyway, of course I'm all proud of my gift so I HAD to give it to him on the 13th. He was super happy, LOVED it. yay me. Of course he's a man and hadn't gotten me anything yet. This was after I had gone on and on about the watch I had seen. So i told him DO NOT BUY IT FOR ME. Seriously. I have EXTREME buyers remorse. There's no need to spend money on these things we just don't need!

He bought me the watch. I'm spoiled. GAH! <3 <3

Life is hard.

I'm scared of being home alone, sometimes she helps.

I'm greatfull for what I have. Even if I complain, well, alot. I know I am truely blessed.
